bulletI really appreciate the role the Fairfield Community School District plays in developing the future leaders of our community. As a graduate of FHS, I have the desire to give back to the teachers, students and administration. The Fairfield Education Foundation has been a great vehicle for me to support the schools through fund raising and other activities.

bulletThe grants given by the Education Foundation have enhanced the learning environment for all students in the district.  Providing funds for new and innovating teaching aids makes the classroom atmosphere interesting and encourages students to participate and learn.  The leaders for the future are in our classrooms today.  A sound and diverse educational experience places young people on the path to success. By investing in education, you can be a partner in the goal to increase the learning, achievement and performance of all students

bullet Having served on various boards and committees over the years, it is an honor to now serve as a board member with the Fairfield Community School District Education Foundation. The work of the Foundation provides resources and action where the need is greatest -- in the classrooms of our public schools. I am proud that our own children have attended Fairfield's schools and graduated from FHS. The quality of the education they received is second-to-none. Along with the Education Foundation, I pledge to work to help the Fairfield Community School District continue on its path of excellence.

bullet"As a former remedial reading teacher in the Fairfield School district from 1975-1996, and now as a grandparent of children attending our schools, I have always been proud of the high quality education which is offered to students in the Fairfield area. The Fairfield Education Foundation is one way we can continue to provide the very best education for generations to come."

bullet Involvement in the Education Foundation is one way to demonstrate commitment to our children and community. John Dewey wrote that the aim of education is the enrichment of the individual and society by developing a child’s “social power and insight”. I hope others will take advantage of opportunities to show how much we value education as the way to enhance the quality of community life, and support the Foundation’s efforts.

bulletLike many Iowa towns, Fairfield faces the challenge of both educating its youth and retaining alumni. Teachers that go above and beyond the call of duty not only impact their students’ educations, they help influence the decisions of graduates to return to our community and raise families. The Education Foundation provides necessary funding to teachers who are positively impacting students through extraordinary efforts. As a local businessman and expectant father, I am committed to supporting our community’s outstanding educators and am honored to be part of an organization that serves such an important purpose.

bullet Our children are our greatest resource for the continued economic growth of our community.  We must provide a superior public education for all our children.  The budget constraints our public school systems are under require that we provide additional resources to our education system and the Education Foundation is an excellent vehicle to channel these resources to our educators and the system.  Our children are our future - let's take care of them!

bullet Education of our children today requires innovative techniques and approaches different than those used for past generations. Ongoing budget restraints sometimes prohibit our teachers from obtaining materials necessary to provide that "fresh" approach needed to teach their subject matter and enhance the standard textbook materials.  The Education Foundation will help fill that void and provide our future citizens with
enhanced educational experiences.  You can be a part of this process by supporting our efforts and/or making donations.  An investment in our children is an investment in our future society.  We appreciate your support!

bulletTeachers are the ones educating our future leaders in all walks of life. I feel it's important to provide them with the resources to do the best job possible

bulletI believe the best facet about the Education Foundation is the direct and tangible benefit to our students. It’s easy for contributors to see where their dollars are going which is uncommon in non-profit organizations today. I am proud to be a product of the Fairfield school system (K-12) and honored to have been asked to serve on this Board.

bullet Providing a high quality education to the young people of Fairfield is one of the most important things we can do.  This requires the efforts of many to give our educators the resources to enhance the education process above and beyond the level traditional sources allow.  The Education Foundation is an excellent vehicle to allow individuals to personally contribute to our education system.  It has shown that it can make a difference in Fairfield and it will continue to do so.

"I am honored to serve as the teacher representative for this organization that has done so much to provide funding for our classrooms. I see this position as an opportunity to provide a voice for all teachers in the district. If there is a question about the benefit of a particular item, I can be an advocate for the teacher and support the request."
